Opportunity:Â The Archdiocese set out to revitalize the Church of southeastern Wisconsin. Communication to all 204 parishes across 10 counties was vital in this process to gain buy-in, generate enthusiasm and support, and garner participation.
Here’s how we helped:
Parish & School Communications:Â A strong communications plan to parishes and schools was put in place that included emails, newsletters, parish bulletin announcements and face-to-face meetings. This effort was intended to update stakeholders on key milestones, while also generating excitement for this renewal effort.
Social Media:Â A Facebook campaign was launched to keep the event top of mind among all the faithful in southeastern Wisconsin.
Public Relations:Â Media outreach was a key component of the event itself. Large and small media outlets were targeted, and key spokespeople were identified and trained to participate in the news media to help promote this event.
Video:Â Video was a key aspect of parish sessions, district gatherings, and the Synod event itself. More than six creative videos were produced to augment meeting messages and to generate a spirit-filled experience.
